The Sweetest thing

Good things come to those who wait......
I had my eye on some sergers at walmart that they
were clearencing out but they kept dropping the price so
i kept waiting. To my disappointment they were all
gone the next time I had gone to check on them...DARN
I waited to long! I had mentioned this bummer deal to a good friend
of mine on a friday night when we were hanging out
and didn't think anymore about it. Saturday morning
I got a phone call from this sweet friend (who is a garage
sale queen) and like music to my ears she said,
"I found a Serger for only $35 at a garage sale
do you want me to get it for you?"
And my response.......
YES! YES! YES!
Thanks Rach you made my day!
( Side note: I wasn't home when Rach dropped it off so the sweet awesome husband that i have took the time while watching both kids to get the serger out, thread it for me, and have it all ready to go so when i got home it would be ready for me to try out! Gotta love that man!)

St. George Part II1/2

St. George Part II

Heres a snapshot of some things we did at the Hansen Reunion in Duck Creek!

Following a fun filled days playing in the pool we headed over to Tyler's house for the last leg of our trip. We had fun at the slpash pad with all of Addie's cousins and spent way too long finding and buying that new camera!
It happened to be Ty's family reunion and so we headed up inot the mountains to Duck Creek. We had a blast playing oin the 4 - wheelers, doinng crafts, paintballing and just hanging out with the family. We all felt just like Addie when she said first thing upon getting out of the van "I love the mountains!"
We had a blast visting family and was able to see al of my brothers and sisters just before we left for the long haul home. Driving through the night is so much harder when you know you are going back to normal life and another year of Medical School for Ty.
WE LOVE OUR FAMILY!!!!

Surprise visit to St. George Part 1

Yeah for Surprises...I guess Tyler and I are just

full of surprises, sadly enough i think our streak of

surprises will simmer down a bit. We decided to

surprise all our family and make the 19 hour drive

to St. George. We drove through the night which was great

but so exhausting. When we arrived in st.george

we stopped first at Ty's parents house for the "big surprise"

then continued on to some of Ty's siblings that live near by.

After that we ventured over to my parents house where

we then surprised them and stayed for the first

part of our trip.

Grandma Rosie and Grandpa Dave have a pool so

we did a lot of swimming while we where there.

Tyler also got in on the Pickleball action

on the new court my parents just put in in another part

of their back yard.

Addie doing the pool surf
Trey loved being in the pool.
And then we bought this. And because we
bought this its going to take me a little bit
to figure out how to get the pictures from the rest of our
trip on the blog.

A milestone for Trey

On wednesday July 22nd Trey rolled over all by himself for the first time and has been doing it ever since. He's loving his new found ability but doesn't seem to enjoy to consequence of it...(being on his belly for too long). Now he's just go to figure our how to get back over! Sorry no pics to prove it they will come sooner than later...hopefully.
