Playing at G&G Hansen's house

Grandma & Grandpa Hansen's Garden
Addie always heads for the strawberry patch to collect the
Iddy bitty little strawberries!

Trey has discovered his love for the wiggle cars!
Especially when he can race down the drive way side by side with his
cousin Bryson. Addie gave the wiggle cars a go but would rather spend her time
doing the monkey bars (by herself now) or digging in the dirt.

4-Wheeling is always a must! We always love to get out in the hills
and do some 4-wheeling. The kids love to go for rides with Daddy.
And of course the guns have to come too for target shooting!
We had a spectacular view of the Red Mountain and Pine Valley Mt which
call HOME for Tyler.

Grandpa had a Birthday and we got to be here
to help celebrate! Yay! Good times with family!

Ahhh...26!!!

Wow another year old!
But I couldn't be happier. I had an awesome birthday with
great birthday surprises, birthday wishes, and the best birthday cake ever!
First Tyler started making my cake  (yes he made my cake from scratch) the night before my birthday
because he knows that I love the cake a day old, better then fresh out of the oven!
So the next day was my birthday and we went about the day
as normal...Ty went to work, the kids and I went to play with friends and Addie and I did our nails together while Trey napped. When Tyler got home I had dinner ready as usual when the doorbell rang. It was our good friend, who Tyler had arranged with to watch the kids so we could go out to dinner and shopping!
I was so surprised and very excited! We ended up going to Olive Garden and having a very delicious meal!
But the celebrating didn't stop there....

The day after my birthday we packed up and headed out to Utah. We stayed with my sister and her husband in Northern Utah and ate my cake that we brought with us! I wasn't about to let that delicious cake go to waste! Then the following day, we drove the rest of the of Southern Utah and did more celebrating at my parents house! The kids got in the pool, we enjoyed some sun..(finally) and had more cake!! Just when I thought the celebrating was over we headed over the Tyler's parents house and did more there! I felt very spoiled to have my birthday last 3 days! It was a great birthday and makes getting a year older that much better!

Field Trip and Last Day of Preschool

I can't believe the school year is already over!
Addie had such a great time going to preschool this
last semester. She started in January and has loved
every minute of it! She had great teachers and fun
classmates. She will really miss going to
St. Marks Day school next year.

They had 1 last field trip about 2 weeks before school
was over. They had been learning about recycling and
reusing things for different purposes. So they got to
go to the big recycling plant in Casper.

The kids were full of questions as usual
and had fun looking and learning about the
recycling process. However, the best part was the
random case of animals in the recycling center office.
Apparently it is a family operated business and
they are all avid hunters. So everything they have
hunted and stuffed was showcased in their office!
Kinda random but the kids loved it!

Mothers Day 2011

Mother's Day was great! What a special day for us to reflect
on our own Mothers, Mothers to be, future mothers,
and our own motherhood. I've been so blessed with 2
wonderful children and 1 big child! They are my world,
my life, my love. I love them so much.

These made my heart melt. I loved Treys sweet little hand
outlines. I'm so grateful Trey's teachers did this because now
i will always remember how small his little hands were.
And I love that Addies card reads, "Happy Mothers!"
Mothers should always be happy...how blessed are we
to have children to hold, to teach, to nurture,
and to love!

Just look at these sweet faces...who wouldn't want
to be their MOM!!! I'm one lucky lady!
I also feel very lucky in the sense that
Tyler makes it a point to make mothers day
as special as possible. And he successfully made
that happen again this year! I was so spoiled with
simply having to do NOTHING!!! Thank you Tyler!

Some of our little adventures lately....

Now that our weather is warming up a bit
here and there we've been out adventuring again.
We love to go out on adventures whether they happen
in our back yard, the mountains, or down by the river.
It's just nice to get out and feel the warmth of the sun again.

This particular adventure took place at the
Edness Kimball Wilkinsons State Park
in Casper, WY. They have walking trails along the platte river
play grounds, picnic areas, and a big pond with sandy
"beaches" surrounding it. They kids had a ball playing
in the sand and water so much so they did it for about
2 hours straight! Oh how I long to take them
to a "real" beach.

Next, was the construction site. And I dedicate this
adventure to my friend Danna!
Anyway, they are putting in a huge sport complex in right next to our house
the kids have loved watching the tractors, bulldozers, and dump trucks
work so hard everyday. One day after the workers had all gone home
we headed to the site to explore the endless piles of dirt they'd been working on.
Addie and Trey brought their little shovels along and dug a scoop out
of every mound. We hit the jackpot though when we found some nice
soft white sand. They dug and dug and dug. We went back
a couple more times in the evenings after the workers left one of
which was our F.H.E. activity...hmm can you guess who was
assigned activity that night??

Another warm day was in store for us
so we decided to go to Bridal Fall. We hadn't
been there since last fall. The fall still had snow around it
but the trail to it was clear and spring was in the air.
We saw lots of butterflies, new buds popping out on the trees,
heart shaped rocks, and the fall gushing with snow run off!
Later that day after Trey went down for his nap
Addie and I layed out in the front yard and
read books while enjoying the warmth from the sun.
After about 3 or 4 books I looked up only to see this
TURKEY standing right in front of us on our sidewalk.
I did a total double take then stared more. Was a turkey really
standing right in front of us? She was beautiful and all alone
which was unusual for turkeys. But we watched her for a while
and took some pics. She eventually went into our neighbors backyard.
It was a perfect way to end our adventure day!

Jamie.....#1 MOM

Just a few of the reasons She is and will always be #1 in our Hearts!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Crafty as I like to call her.  She always has another creative idea and the talent and inspiration to complete it.  Like Halloween costumes for the kids, decorations for the house, new clothes for the kids and I could go on and on and on.  Thanks Jamie..
Your #1 for always taking the time to have fun with the kids.  They wont ever forget it.  And it is this relationship they will learn to depend on through thick and thin in their upcoming adventures.  Thanks Jamie for sharing your love and excitement!
#1 because you let them just be kids...even when it means a bigger mess for you.  Thanks for putting the kids first.
#1 mom because you can even put up with a stubborn bugger "extra kid".  One that often requires more time and attention then the other two combined.
Jamie your the greatest.  Thanks for being our Number 1 Mom!!!!

Love  Ty, Addie and Trey!!!!!

I LOVE MY MOMMY!

Mom......Happy Mothers Day!
 I LOVE YOU!!!
No one can ever express in words very well how much you appreciate and value what they have given you.
I want to attempt to do this to you....but where do you start.
I could always start with the birthing process but I would rather not go there...Creepy!
Despite my stubbornness, very opinionated thoughts and feelings and general stupidity you stuck it out.
Thanks....only you could.
I thank you for help in budding my faith and testimony,
steering my stubborn and determined desires into appropriate avenues,
and no matter what decisions I make - always standing behind me.
Hopefully I have or can make you proud!
Love you!

Your son.

Mom

Mom...you mean so much to me. I appreciate all you have
done and do for me. You have been such an amazing example
to me in my life and for that I am so grateful. You have
taught me in many ways by your example to be more
Christlike and charitable. You have sacrificed so much
of your time, your life, devoting time to your kids
and teaching them the goodness of life and the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you mom.
Thank you for everything.
Mom.
I love you.
Happy Mother's Day!
