38 Week update

I know I know....my blog is no fun because i don't have pictures up. Like I've said before its quite the process to get pics off my camera now because my dang computer wont read my memory card...so my apologies. However, there is so much i want to blog about with pictures but I'm 38 weeks prego and basically lazy, tired, and want this baby here!!!!. We had a wonderful spring break with Daddy being out of school for a whole week! We even had Tyler's brother and his wife come visit us during that week. We had so much fun with them and are so glad they came out to see us!

So at my 38 week check up I was still only dialated to a 2 and I had the Doc strip my membranes. Hasn't seem to get anything going yet. Tyler is having a hard time concentrating on studying because he wants this little guy here so badly. I don't blame him I'm getting anxious too! So there you have it...my sad, non-exciting update!!!

37 week update!

I just back from the doctor today and I was dialated to a 2 and 50% effaced. They were worried the baby wasn't head down so we got an ultrasound done and luckily enough he was head down. That was a huge relief for me. Anyway, it will probably still be a while before this little guy makes his debut but atleast i know my body is starting to get ready for it. It was kinda fun to hear that i was dialated more than a "tight 1" as my doctor back home told me everytime i went in up until the day i had Addie. Progress is happening! Wahoo! However..i'm not getting my hopes up!

2 YEAR OLDS STILL NEED NAPS.....ATLEAST THEIR MOMS THINK THEY DO!

I believe i have officially seen the last of Addie's nap days.....yes, very very sad indeed. Maybe its just me, but i could get so much more done knowing she was slumbering away for a long afternoon nap. It gets so hard for me to focus on the items on my "to do while Addie's asleep list" when I'm listening to her on the monitor tearing her room apart, and wondering what kind of mess i will be walking into when her hour + is up of "quiet time"(this is what her nap time has been replaced with.) I used to get lucky and every other day she would fall asleep during her quiet time...but those days are gone I'm afraid :( To all those Mothers out there who's 2 year olds still take naps...embrace and cherish that time for as long as you can....and to those mothers who are in my same boat...well what can i say, what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger right??!!!!
