"Girl time"

{A little post pictured and Narrated by Addie}
Today was a really fun day.
When my brother goes down for his nap my Mommy
and I have "girl time." Today during our
girl time my mommy really wanted to sew her curtains but
I had a better idea. And with my best droopy eyes and high
pitch sincere voice I asked her if she would,"pleeease make me
some food for me to play with?" Ahh ha...it worked. She put
her curtains down and said,"Yes." Oh boy was I excited.
So we spent a couple minutes looking up felt food
on blogs so we could decide what we wanted to make.
After we decided we gathered our supplies.....

Red felt for water melons and tomatoes!

After we gathered our supplies my mommy cut out
the food and started sewing. Mommy
let me cut the black felt into little pieces
for the seeds on the watermelon.

We stuffed the watermelon with batting
so it would look like a plump juicy slice!

Ta Da. The watermelon is Done!

Heres all the food me and mommy made:

* 2 slices of watermelon
* 2 Eggs
* 1 Tomato
* Cupcake
* Oreo

Thanks Mommy for making me some food,
"Can we make more tomorrow......."

July 2010@
Grandma and Grandpa McFadden's House
(a.k.a Grandma Rosie and Grandpa Dave)

The kids loved going out after dinner,
to take a walk on the golf course to the pond
to feed the ducks. And hunt for "treasures" (a.k.a golf balls)

The 24th of July...Pioneer Day Celebrations!
Tyler and I ran our very first 5K race together. And my sweet
Tyler and sister-in-law Dindra stayed with me the whole time...
I was so slow and they totally could have finished the race in a much
better time but they stuck it out with me.
(and just for the record...I haven't run in YEARS!!) This about
literally killed me....it was quite pathetic, really. But I crossed that finished
line and thats all that matters right!
After the race my parents stake put on a Pioneer day Celebration where
we had a great breakfast and the kids got to play on blow up toys,
play games, get their face painted and eat snowcones!
After the festivities and sweating to pieces in the HOT
St. George morning sun we all retreated to the pool to cool off!
Swimmin', pool surfing, pool volley ball, "toothpick"....
what a great afternoon!
To beat the heat again we traveled to
the Pine Valley Mountain for a picnic dinner.
It was much cooler up there and as always
fun to be in the mountains!
Good times where had by all.

THAI FOOD FEAST
Sad to say this was our last Hoo-raw before
we left for Wyoming. Tyler and my brother Troy
have mastered many authentic Thai dishes. And lucky
for us they love to share this talent with us and cooked
us up some great food! It was so delicious.
We had a blast spending the month of July with our families.
So many memories where made and fun times to look
back on.

Hansen Reunion
July 16-18, 2010
We camped in the shadow of the beautiful
Kolob Mountains in New Harmony, UT and had
a wonderful time hanging out together, playing games,
eating good food, and making memories!
Thanks Amy and Rob for yet another great reunion!

The only way to cool off in St.George in July is to go swimming
or find some sort of water to retreat too! We were able to
enjoy Tylers' aunts pool while we were there. The kids
had a blast swimming, sliding, floating and cliff jumping. Addie even
learned to swim with out floaties while we were there.
She was so happy that she swam like a "big girl!"

Daddy's and Grandpa's day out with Addie and Trey!
While I was having girl time with Tylers sisters
and Mom, He and Grandpa were having a good time
at the farm with the kiddos!
They got to go on a tractor rides with Daddy,
collect eggs, and pet the horses.

Splash pad fun with Hansen cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Hansen
