DONE!!!....

(ok not quite but we're getting there!)

(and yes I made him pose for this. I gave him 2 choices and he opted for the fist pump)

2 years down and done.

He can finally RELAX, sit back and play some PS3,

NOT study, play around with the kids, enjoy life,

NOT be stressed out!!!!

Whew...what a great 2 years and a crazy 3 weeks!

Tyler has officially finished his 2nd year of medical school

and has taken the Step 1 Comlex Board Exam.

I must say the hardest thing about the last 2 years

of medical school was this past 3-4 weeks when

he was preparing/studying for his Board Exam.

However, its done and over with now so we're going to

party like its 19-99!! And enjoy him while we can!

We are so proud of you Ty and love you so much!

Fathers Day 2010

We love

our Daddy because......

He Reads to us.

He spends time with us.

He has picnic's with us.

He takes me to get donuts!

He takes us to Baseball games!

He plays with us.

He teaches me to ride my bike!

We watch Basketball together

He loves us!

Houston, we have a problem....

I can't find shoes to fit

these cute chubby feet!

As much as I love these sweet chubba

feet...I hate shopping for shoes to fit them!

Mainly because I CANT find any shoes

to FIT them!

And the 1 pair that he does own
leave these sweet polka dot tan lines
on his feet!


However, Trey DOES have 1 pair of shoes.
He wears them everywhere...outside, in the water,
inside, to church (not a fan), in the sand box, etc.
They're great because they CAN go everywhere
and in anything...like the dishwasher to get cleaned!
But none the less they are the ONLY shoes
that fit his feet and even then I struggle
to get them in over the top part of his feet!

Crocs....gotta love em!!!!!

We went to the dentist...

Today was Addies first dentist appointment

She was happy to be there and very talkative

to the dental assistant who cleaned her teeth.

I think it was her way of coping with

the little bit of nervousness she had.

She got to wear some "cool'' sunglasses

to shade her eyes from the bright light.

Opening wide like a champ
and enjoying the cartoons she got
to watch as the lady cleaned her teeth!

All done! Teeth look great!
She was so happy to recieve a new Cinderella
tooth brush and a fun little surprise for
being soooo good!

Found 2 of these beauties at the dumpster.

I just couldn't pass up the potential I saw in

them everytime I drove past the dumpster. And just

for the record..I myself went and got them from the side

of the dumpster...not my husband!

(usually i send him to do my dumpster diving!!)

I have never redone/recovered a wood chair before

So I was excited to embark on a new challenge.

It was fun. Educational. Challenging. Exciting.

And i'm glad I did it!

MAY 2010

*Kicked off the month of May with a

May Day celebration at our Branch Presidents house

who has a pond on his property where we got to

take the kids out for a paddle boat ride.

* Addie finished up her 1st year of preschool.

Her teachers Ms. Leslie and Ms. Cathy were so great!

* Made my Mom and Mother in Law Aprons

for their Mother's Day gifts!

* And I enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day with my family

(which was already blogged about!!)

25..Yikes!!!

I had a Birthday this month. And I couldn't think of

a better way to spend my birthday than

with my little family at a place where we are

all happy....TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!!

* Endless scones for the Trey man

(just look at that kid..he loves those scones!!)

* Endless peanuts to peel and eat for Addie girl

* Endless scones and GREAT food for Mommy

*And Endless scones and Yummy steaks for Daddy

What a wonderful birthday I had. Although it was very

rainy and cold that day, it was filled with lots of

warm birthday gestures and wishes from friends and family!

Ty spoiled me with $$$ and 4 hours of ALONE time

to go shopping for some new clothes..just what i wanted!!!

Summer time is finally here!

We've been spending a lot of time outside whether its in the pool, coloring with sidewalk chalk, playing in the mud, playing in the sand box, chasing birds (trey's favorite), or riding bikes! (Addies a pro at her big girl bike)

I love that we started off the month with a

celebration and could end it that way too! We

started our celebrations by going out for donuts

and chocolate milk for breakfast at our

local grocery store, Hyvee.

And Memorial Day would not be complete without

a BBQ. Sorry no pics. We had a blast BBQ'n up some

chicken, letting the kids play, chatting with friends and Ty playing some

friendly dunk ball with the guys!
