Grandma and Grandpa Hansen Came to Visit

The first thing we did after grandma and grandpa

got off the plane was go to the zoo. We have a

really fun zoo here

The tigers were fun to see as you can

tell this tiger would come right up to

the window and get up close and personal

Addie got spoiled with a train ride around the

zoo with Grandma and Grandpa.

We had a blast at the zoo. The animals at our zoo are all very active and fun to see.

After the zoo we came home so everyone could rest a while. Tyler's parents

came out to see us and enjoy a "family weekend" at Des Moines University. Included

in this weekend was Tyler's white coat ceremony and tours of the students labs and

simulation rooms. This was very fun for all of us. We were able to go and

see where tyler does his lab work and where they get to practice a lot of things like

treating patients, surgery, delivery a baby, drawing blood, putting in IV's, learning the

anatomy of the human body and a whole lot more.
